Fiddle and Pick

Founded in 2008, Fiddle & Pick is the home of the Musical Heritage Center of Middle Tennessee — and it's a lot more than a music school. The venue hosts concerts, Pickin' Parties, Ceili Parties (Irish barn dancing), flat-footing and clogging nights, and annual festivals celebrating traditional Appalachian and Irish music, all in an intimate room with great sound and a beautiful dance floor. You don't need to play a note to have a great time here — just show up, take it in, and let the music do the rest. For those who want to go deeper, private lessons, group classes, jams, and workshops are available year-round on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and guitar, taught by Nashville professional musicians.
